HOLY CRAP!
THIS IS A TEAM COMIC I WOULD READ THE SHIT OUT OF!
but why the fuck is cass not here though
I didn’t actually mind it as much, because I didn’t read it as “these are my besties fighting with me”; I read it as “Kara gathers who she has around her at the time”. If it were Steph gathering a team of her personal greatest allies, with forethought, Cass should definitely be there and I would be indescribably pissed if she weren’t.
But it’s a random gathering of heroes, and - well, I think Cass deserves more than that as a cameo anyway? She’s Stephanie’s best friend. She’s Batman.
Besides, this is fairly minor on Cassandra’s scale. She’d annihilate that riot without giving most of them a chance to do much.
Of course, I’m holding out for her being in the last issue, and if she’s not - yeah, I’ll be pretty damn upset. I don’t care what your fucking issues with her are, Miller, she’s an important part of Stephanie’s life and an important part of the Batgirl legacy and that should have been shown all along, at least show it at the end.
