Wait why is this saying Kitakyushu is four hours from Tokyo. Kitakyushu is…on…Kyushu. It’s about 40 minutes north of Fukuoka, which is…a day’s ride on the Shinkansen from Tokyo (~7 hours).

It’s a Pretty Big Deal and the backlash in the fandom is pissing me off at the moment with the “why can’t they just be friends and why does everything have to be gay blah blah blah” okay everyone shut the hell up because if this happens, that is a canon relationship between two women in a kids’ show.
I love the show and the characters and I’m delighted this could even happen. Plenty of people are writing great things about how much this could mean to so many people. It’s not that hard to understand. Screw all the people sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting about straight straight straight. I hope this happens.
